Trainer's Message
A warm welcome to the GOAT family from Life of Math. Welcome to the 4A level Part 1 Modules 1 to 9 of LOM's Grade-wise Math Video Course.
LOM's Gradewise Math Program helps develop Problem Solving and Critical Thinking skills. This program is designed at a higher end to give the best benefits to LOM kids. Mental Math strategies are used in many different ways to help child understand how he/she can break down big numbers in small parts and apply those strategies easily. The purpose of this to have fun in math. Math is for everyone and it is extremely important to introduce math right way at the early age. The main goal of Gradewise Math program is to show that Math is not one way and many ways of doing math expands brain, develops creativity, and adds fun. Bar Modeling is used to solve complex word problems. Bar Modeling makes word problem more visual, and it is easy to get the number sentence out of it. Video lessons are designed very thorough and have used manipulatives where is needed to give concrete understanding of the concept. As the level goes up, the complexity goes up so it is important to make each level foundation strong before moving to the higher level. Video course gives you that flexibility to play, pause, rewind as many times as you need to master the concept. Each topic is thoughtfully designed and takes child from easy to medium to challenging level gradually.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Please read everything carefully. These notes will help you complete the level successfully and joyfully.
Video access time limit: 12 weeks max from the date it is delivered.

You can watch the videos at any time that suits you but please DO NOT wait till end. To be successful with video courses, DISCIPLINE is the key. You may want to consider arranging a personal schedule. Try to work on it at least 30 minutes to an hour depending upon your age for 3 to 4 times a week and if needed more. Working on this course one time in a week will not give the best benefits it is designed for. Regular work is important for faster results.
One of the other advantages of learning with the videos is that you can pause whenever you like (if you need to think about something), and even review to watch a part again if you need to. Or you can re-watch an entire video. The videos will remain available until the end of the time limit that is 18 weeks, after that it will not be available.
As you go through the videos, start working on the worksheets. SEQUENCE is important. Go in a sequence provided and do not skip anything or mix and match. One video at a time. Keep watching the same video till you master the concept. Make extra notes if needed.
Immerse yourself in this different approach of math because math is not one way and knowing different ways of math expands brain and make math fun.
Warning- BE ON CLOCK. All video access etc., will be taken out after the time limit. NO EXCEPTION.
Having said that- the course if not difficult, you just need to be committed and regular in your work.
Good luck with the course - have Fun!
